It is not clear if the upgrade will require payment. There is a chance that Windows 10 users will be offered a free upgrade or a discount.

I don't really understand "liking" or "choosing" Windows. It's always been the OS that I need. Mostly because I'm a gamer. Windows 10 has not always been my get up and go OS, in fact before that I was using windows 8.1 that I have not used for that long and stick with Windows 7 for far more longer. I still love Windows 7 and XP however those days are gone.
I have been using Windows 10 since early 2014 when I was I insider programme, then when Windows 10 fully got released I was already been using it for 6 long months, Now if you mean Windows 10 as opposed to 7 or 8.1 or even Vista or XP, it's just that it's the newest version and I don't like to be running outdated code that may or may not be vulnerable to exploits and attacks.
